went to see a movie for the first time since February (Giant Slayer, with the Japanese exchangers), woken up by best1, ordered to the theatre by best2 due in 20 minut/es: Star Trek 2.

Surprisingly, I don’t have any real complaints, unless of course my best1 did not recognize Cumberbatch even though she is literally halfway through Sherlock Holmes in three days oh god

Thanks to tumblr, every moment Pine and Quinto were even somewhat in proximity I started hissing GAY, KISS; GAY, KISS and thanks to the Sherlockians I was confused and started also hissing KISS HIM DOCTOR during other scenes even though if I really wanted Karl Urban to kiss anyone it would be me. 

Chris Pine just looked so rough! pretty much the whole movie [and Spock’s shirt is fitted but not Kirk’s? wrong. BOO] but his SAPPHIRE ORBS were insanely blue what the cray~~

ok real complaint: too much action. I’ll take my boos elsewhere, because I know it’s an action movie but really that climb into the radiation chamber was a bit long for me.  and painful looking. Pine’s thing—I am mad. Not sure if Kahn’s reasoning was all there. He’s 300 years old but more advanced? I was confused. And I could’ve sworn that guy in the beginning was going to come back or the daughter become Uhura or something that’s how badly I felt it

real compliment: Cumberbatch! Seriously, his action scenes were awesome, even if that chase in the end revealed some less-than-steel-cheekbones from stunt actors. At first I couldn’t take him seriously because I didn’t buy him as a villain (ok guys, funny joke, now give Watson back so Holmes can stop his tantrum) but once I got over the voice effect (and he started doing some cool jabs n stuff) I loved it!

Good stuff. Hope the next movie they kiss.
